After moving out of his house at age 15, Carter lived with friends as he continued to go to high-school. After graduating from Linden High School in New Jersey, he joined the Army Reserve and then enrolled in Kansas State University where he pursued a degree in finance and later earned his MBA. Now at 29 years old, he is a millionaire, despite many hardships he faced during his youth.
